CBR TV @ CCI: Captain Dale Dye Leads IDW’s “Code Word: Geronimo” to Comics

Military film consultant, actor, novelist and newly minted comic writer Captain Dale Dye joins CBR’s Jonah Weiland on the CBR Yacht at Comic-Con International in San Diego to discuss his career’s evolution and his path to writing comics. Dye is responsible for IDW Publishing’s “Code Word: Geronimo,” a graphic novel which tells the story of SEAL Team 6′s assassination of Taliban leader Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan.

Dye discusses the difficult task of telling the story accurately after such a short amount of time and why now was exactly the right time to do it. He also recounts how he pieced together the story based on the known facts, timeline, and his own sources.
