Writer John Layman, co-creator of the multiple Eisner Award winning “Chew” with artist Rob Guillory, stopped by CBR TV’s luxurious, floating Tiki Room to discuss last year’s experience filming Morgan Spurlock’s documenatary, “Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope,” announces his “Aliens” miniseries with artist Sam Keith and traversing the waters of getting story approval from Fox.

Layman also gets into the “Chew” television series, updating CBR on the current status of the Showtime production, his and Guillory’s “unofficial” casting of the show and his stance on “whitewashing” the role of Tony Chu for television.

Finally, Layman discusses the relationship between “Chew” and Image Comics, tackles the possibility of releasing more series through the publisher and much more.
