CBR TV @ NYCC: Jason Aaron Discusses “Scalped” and Football Fans

CBR columnist and award-winning comic writer Jason Aaron spent some time in the CBR TV tiki lounge during New York Comic Con, discussing his career, upcoming projects, the ongoing NBA issues, fantasy football and the similarities between sports and comics fandom.

Aaron discussed his recent experience at the Jornadas de Comic de la Villa de Avilés in Spain, going into the differences between the festival and the typical comic book convention, being able to hang out socially with fans, fellow pros and his “Scalped” partner R.M. Guera.

On the topic of “Scalped,” Aaron talked about the upcoming finale of the critically acclaimed series, the likliehood of teaming with Guera again once their current project is completed and the growth they’ve both experienced while working on the title.
