CBR TV @ NYCC: Michael Kaluta on “Paradise Lost,” Madame Xanadu & the Next Generation of Artists

The legendary Michael Kaluta dropped in on the CBR TV Tiki Room during New York Comic Con where he appeared to announce his upcoming project with Legendary Comics, a collaboration with writer Steve Niles adapting John Milton’s “Paradise Lost.”

Kaluta talked about how he’s looking forward to working in the horror genre again, his work with Matt Wagner on Vertigo’s “Madame Xanadu” title and the subsequent resurgence of the character in the DC Universe and his approach to designing the covers for the series during his run on the title as well as that of original series artist Amy Reeder.

The artist also spoke about the next generation of comic book artists, his potential influence on and from young up and comers and more.
