Can’t help but feel this is completely pointless retread of countless Mutant stories.

    • That Guy

Because it really it. They just replaced mutants with Inhumans and will play the Inhuman hate card and giant Inhuman hunting robots card.

I’m already less than impressed with the expression of Inhuman mutation, was all the Kree experimentation good for was to produce another race of Deviants?

really kind of feels that with the way the movies are affecting marvels decisions (the 6 movie avengers being on the team in the comic, the reveal of thanos at the end of the film – with then him appearing as the big bad in an event a year later, malekith being in thor at the same time of the films release, there’s more) that they are really pushing the inhumans because they don’t have the x-men, discrediting them in order to speed up the process of winning the rights back. they gave them the shaft last year by making them the villains in AvX and have pretty much robbed them of their niche “feared, hated and misunderstood” angle with the inhumans, plus they get pushed into a corner for their events -‘battle of the atom’ for instance may as well not take place in-universe but the avengers’ got two events this year that “shook the marvel universe to its very core”. with the amount of avengers titles marvel looks set to repeat its mistakes with the x-men in the 90’s. needless to say its an avengers world.

so… this confirms Kamala Khan is an inhuman…
also, i agree this looks like a mutants remake..
but i’m actually hoping this event will turn interesting and have some unexpected developments… and that it doesn’t work as an excuse to create an uncanny inhumans team, or x-men vs inhumans.. or whatever team-up they’re planning now…

Yep, this is so damn obviously done so that they have something in place of mutants for their Cinematic Universe. That’s all this is. X-Men nowadays have been completely shafted from the whole MU. They were turned into villains in AvX and BotA sucked and might as well not have happened at all. Avengers on the other hand receive at least one MU changing event each year and everything is built around them. But then again, movies might eventually be the inevitable future for all of our favorite characters as comics sales are getting weaker and weaker while superhero movies are some of the most successful ones so what’re you gonna do?

I’m not bothered by any of this…except for Hulks blinking metal glowing panties…
