“Green Lantern” Trailer featuring Guardians, Kilowog & More

Warner Bros. Pictures has released an all-new trailer for June 17′s “Green Lantern” – the adaptation of DC Comics’ space-bound superhero starring Ryan Reynolds. In the meatiest spot yet, Ryan Reynolds’ Hal Jordan faces down a load of new threats, including a look at the birth of Parallax, insights into the Guardians of the Universe, training sequences with Sinestro and Kilowog on Oa and more all-new action with Carol Ferris, Hector Hammond, Amanda Waller and more!

Opening in 2D and 3D on June 17, Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Angela Bassett, Temuera Morrison, Jay O. Sanders, Taika Waititi and Jon Tenney.

    Wow they have gone for epic, and why not. Hope it can live up to it, i’m just dubious they can mix an earth villain with the cosmic grandiose of the film. But i am still excited by it. Can it oust Thor as best superhero movie of 2011.

    This looks a lot better than it did after the first trailer; however, it looks like they may be taking the “Galactus” route from FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer (I use quote because that cloud thing WASN’T Galactus, as far as I’m concerned). That frightens me a little bit.

    The Guardian looks awful. This movie looks like it has a lot of good going for it but at times the CGI looks awful. They should’ve just used good old fashioned make up effects, much more realistic. nnStill, this isn’t the final product and I haven’t seen the trailer on the big screen on TV so it could just be my computer.

    they missed out a chance to show the green aura reaction to impacts. green sparks everywhere, or green shockwaves, etc

    I’m not sure what amazes me more – the awesome trailer highlighting what appears to be an excellent script/ story enhanced with cutting edge FX, or the pathetic, irrelevant, and petty comments coming out from a bunch of no talent wannabees above.nnNo, it’s the trailer that is amazing. nnI guess pathetic, irrelevant, wannabees are just something to accept as a necessary evil of the internet.
