I guess this is being done to bring the cartoon into closer alignment with the movie universe, but since the Avengers effectively scattered at the end of that movie, it doesn’t seem like it will help much in that regard. Personally, I would have been awfully happy if the generally amazing Earth’s Mightiest had been allowed to continue

It seem sad to leave the Wasp out. I know legally you only have to have one female in the group, but she had some great lines in the previous cartoon.

I didn’t care for the character of the Wasp myself. Her costume was terrible and her dialog was worse.

      Cap came across as pompous.

A:EMH’s animation was kind of bland and boring.

I’m going to watch this one hour premiere on Sunday just so I can properly trash it.

  • ayeball

Yep this is gonna suck. Marvel tries but will never match what DC has done with their animated universe.

Watched the first episode: It’s pretty good add the feel of Avengers as well as Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and of course the comedy from the first series that’s not childish but good for a chuckle.

Sigh. There is nothing about this that is not obviously inferior to “Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.”

that is some ugly cheap look animation

  • William Carpenter

Wow, was this trailer made with Iron Man’s lines from a draft script of the Avengers movie or something? Ridiculous.

  • Falcon Fan

    Lol… “And the Black Guy… ummm I mean New Guy!” Geez… I’m glad he’s there but what a shoehorn…

  • Falcon Fan

Also I’m going to miss Wasp and Giant Man.

  • Brandon

I liked the Click it of Ticket add more then I liked this trailer.

Wow. The person they got to play Tony is TERRIBLE. At least the guy on EMH sounded remotely like Downey Jr.

  • Quantummechanic720

    Ummmm…..Young Justice Invasion!

  • Jorge Trejo

horrible animation, haven’t seen that cheap animation since the 80′s

  • Cliff Galbraith

Why did the get rid of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes — that was fun. This looks awful.

    AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!

The Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes show was actually pretty good. Solid animation, voice acting, original stories that remained faithful to the comic book universe and also echoed the movie universe. As grouchy and entitled as I am as a comic book fanboy, I had no beef with that show. It seemed to be the consensus of most of the cats I talked to. Why cancel a promising series just to reboot it as the same show that at first glance seems to be a little watered down and just wants to jump on the movie franchise bandwagon. I’m sure I’ll check it out somewhere down the line, but my expectations are pretty low… and I agree with Brandon, the ‘Click it or Tick it’ was a bit more captivating…. and ‘Prince of Thunder’?

    • Ayeball

The “Prince of Thunder” moniker is to elude people’s outrage at the use of “God” in anything. Even if it is referring to Norse Mythology. I’m not personally religious but I don’t get all bent out of shape when God is used either.

Earth’s Mightiest Heroes was great but I am excited for something new. Watched the premiere on Disney Xd with 2 kids and liked it. It’s cool to hear how much they know the Avengers already. Growing a new generation of fans!
